Farrell Goehring has been critically acclaimed for his intense performances, filled with energy and flair. He in an internationally renowned organist, performing throughout the United States. Mexico,
Western Europe, and Southeast Asia, and is currently the Organist of Bethesda and the Choirmaster of Bethesda’s Treble Choir, which is affiliated with the Royal School of Church Music of London.
Originally from the Midwest, he was self taught at an early age. He went on to receive music scholarships and honors in high school and college. He studied under Jean Christian at Bethel College in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Joan Lippincott, at Westminster Choir College, in Princeton, New Jersey. Prior to becoming Organist of Bethesda, while living in New York City, Mr. Goehring had the privilege to perform in such famous places as Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, The Cathedral of St. John the Divine and the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C..
Recent recital tours have taken him to Western Europe and Scandinavia. Previous tours have been to Southeast Asia where he was a frequent performer at St. Andrew’s Cathedral and Victoria Concert Hall in Singapore.
